In pursuit of our internationalization and sustainable development strategy, Dong Nai University of Technology (DNTU) is proud to be the host destination for the launch of the GREENSEA project – a significant milestone in strengthening educational ties between the European Union (EU) and Southeast Asia.

Strategic Vision of the GREENSEA Project

GREENSEA (Green Education Partnerships between European and Southeast Asian Higher Education Institutions) is a large-scale green education collaborative project funded by the European Commission under the prestigious ERASMUS-EDU-2025-CBHE program.

The project brings together a network of reputable universities from five countries: Norway, Poland, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand. The core objectives of GREENSEA include:

• Building modern green higher education models.

• Reforming and modernizing curricula in alignment with the European Green Deal.

• Actualizing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the academic environment.

DNTU – An International Academic Bridge in Vietnam

Within the framework of GREENSEA, Dong Nai University of Technology (DNTU) is honored to serve as the host institution for key activities in Vietnam. This role is not only a responsibility but also an affirmation of DNTU’s position in its core strategy: Internationalization – Green Education – Digital Transformation.

The International Kick-off Meeting & Short Exchange will serve as the opening event, marking the official presence of GREENSEA in the region while positioning DNTU as a hub for sustainable knowledge exchange between European and Southeast Asian partners.

Kick-off Meeting: Launching the Green Journey

The event, scheduled for early February 2026 at DNTU, will focus on key objectives:

• Official Project Launch: Establishing operational procedures and commitments among stakeholders.

• Strengthening Academic Collaboration: Creating a forum for direct discussion among international professors and experts.

• Future Orientation: Aligning training programs, research initiatives, and sustainable projects to be implemented during the 2026–2030 period.
