DNTU IN THE GREENSEA INTERNATIONAL PARTNER NETWORK: STRENGTHENING GLOBAL PRESENCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Amidst the global trend of international integration and sustainable development, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) has officially become a strategic link in the GREENSEA project. This network brings together 10 leading partners from Europe and Southeast Asia, aiming to build a green future through innovative education and technology.
1. GREENSEA: A Multinational Network – A Multicultural Connection
The GREENSEA project is far more than a standard cooperation agreement; it represents a powerful academic intersection between two continents: Europe and Southeast Asia. The network comprises 10 prestigious institutions:
-
Europe: Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet (NTNU – Norway); AGH University of Krakow (Poland).
-
Vietnam: Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU); Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST); Van Lang University (VLU); Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
-
Indonesia: Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB); Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS); Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR).
-
Thailand: Chiang Mai University (CMU).
This broad geographical distribution creates a diverse knowledge ecosystem, allowing all parties to leverage the unique strengths of each country to address regional and global challenges.
2. Operational Philosophy: Co-creation and Academic Equality
The core differentiator of GREENSEA lies in its philosophy of Co-creation and Academic Equality.
-
Co-creation: All programs, initiatives, and solutions are built on the collective contribution of all members. There is no top-down imposition; every partner is a "co-builder" of the system.
-
Academic Equality: The project respects the unique differences and values of each educational institution. This equality allows universities of all sizes to contribute their voice and expertise, fostering transparency and absolute trust within the network.
3. The Three Strategic Pillars
To achieve the goal of sustainable development, GREENSEA operates synchronously across three key pillars:
-
Education: Focuses on modernizing curricula according to international standards, providing students with access to the latest knowledge in green technology and sustainability.
-
Research: Promotes joint research projects and collaborative publications in prestigious international journals, tackling environmental challenges and climate change.
-
Innovation: Encourages technology transfer from laboratories to the real world and fosters a spirit of sustainable entrepreneurship among students and faculty.
4. DNTU’s Position and Responsibility
By joining GREENSEA, DNTU asserts its position as a dynamic university and a pioneer in international cooperation. As an active member, DNTU is committed to:
-
Practical Connectivity: Translating the network's research goals into the practical needs of the business community in Dong Nai – a key industrial hub of Vietnam.
-
Capacity Building: Providing maximum opportunities for faculty and students to participate in international exchange, learning, and research activities.
-
Sustainable Value: Ensuring that all initiatives within the project framework aim to create sustainable value for society and enhance the quality of highly skilled human resources.
“10 Partners – One Green Vision” – GREENSEA is more than just a project; it is a journey of trust and connection for a sustainable green planet. DNTU is proud to be part of this historic journey!
