RECEIVING THE P2A PHILIPPINES DELEGATION FOR A VISIT AND WORKING SESSION AT DNTU

On the morning of October 22, 2024, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) welcomed, met, and held a working session with the P2A Philippines Delegation, which included representatives from six prestigious universities in the Philippines: Cebu Institute of Technology University, Tarlac Agricultural University, St. Francis of Assisi College, University of the Visayas, World Citi Colleges, and National College of Science and Technology. This event is part of the university’s international cooperation activities, marking a new milestone in strengthening educational partnerships, academic exchange, and creating more learning opportunities for DNTU students.

 

Welcoming the P2A delegation were Dr. Doan Manh Quynh – President of DNTU, along with faculty leaders and representatives from various departments.  

In his speech at the event, Dr. Doan Manh Quynh extended a warm welcome to the P2A Philippines delegation and expressed his joy in collaborating with universities across the ASEAN region. He shared:  

"Since joining the Passage to ASEAN (P2A) Association in 2017, DNTU has continuously strived to establish cooperative programs and student and faculty exchange initiatives with partner universities. We aim to provide students with opportunities to study, gain experiences, and develop in an international environment, thereby enhancing their skills and knowledge, and preparing them for integration into the regional and global job market."

 

During this visit and working session, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with six prestigious universities in the Philippines: Cebu Institute of Technology University, Tarlac Agricultural University, St. Francis of Assisi College, University of the Visayas, World Citi Colleges, and National College of Science and Technology. The parties discussed in detail their academic collaborations, faculty and student exchange programs, opening up numerous opportunities for both faculty members and students. Speaking at the ceremony, the Head of the P2A Philippines delegation, Dr. Amado L. Magsino, expressed high expectations for this collaboration: "We are delighted to sign the MoU with DNTU. This agreement not only brings academic benefits but also helps students from both sides gain a deeper understanding of the culture and people of ASEAN countries. We strongly believe that through this collaboration, many students will have the opportunity to study, grow, and become global citizens, contributing to the prosperity of the ASEAN community."

 

After the signing ceremony, both parties engaged in discussions and exchanges regarding specific collaboration plans, including student and faculty exchange programs as well as future joint research projects.  

The meeting concluded with warm handshakes and firm commitments to a strong and enduring partnership between Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) and the universities from the Philippines. This event is not only a significant milestone for DNTU but also a testament to the university’s vision and dedication to building an international learning environment, providing students with comprehensive development opportunities.

In addition to the signing of the collaboration agreements, DNTU’s International Cooperation Office also coordinated the Study in the Philippines program. Through this event, students had the opportunity to learn about the Philippine education system—not only in terms of academics but also through international experiences and the chance to receive exchange scholarships for studying abroad.
