GREEN EDUCATION: BEYOND A TREND, A GLOBAL MISSION WITH THE GREENSEA PROJECT

1. What is GREENSEA? An Intercontinental Educational Alliance

Moving beyond mere theoretical concepts, GREENSEA (Green Education Partnerships) is an international collaborative project on green education, funded by the European Commission under the prestigious ERASMUS-EDU-2025-CBHE program.

The project is the result of a dedicated multinational educational network, connecting academic excellence from five countries spanning Europe to Southeast Asia:

• Norway & Poland: Pioneers with world-leading standards in green living and education.

• Vietnam, Indonesia & Thailand: Dynamic economies facing an urgent need for a green transition toward sustainable development.

2. Why is "Green Education" the Heart of the Project?

At GREENSEA, green education is about much more than just greening campus spaces. We redefine this concept through three core pillars:

- Curriculum Enhancement

Deeply integrating modules on the circular economy, renewable energy, and sustainable resource management into higher education systems. Students do not just study theory; they learn to solve the real-world problems of the future.
