Congratulations to DNTU lecturer on receiving the “Best Presenter” award at ICETE2 - 2026 International Conference
Amid the rapid advancement of digital transformation and global challenges related to energy and the environment, international academic forums have increasingly become hubs for knowledge exchange, innovation, and sustainable solutions. The 2nd International Conference on Emerging Technologies for Energy and Environment (ICETE2 – 2026), hosted by Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU), has once again affirmed its role as a prestigious academic platform, bringing together scientists, lecturers, and experts from both domestic and international communities to share valuable research.

Within the framework of the conference, a remarkable achievement was recorded:
Ms. Cam Lien, a lecturer from the Faculty of Foreign Languages at DNTU, was honored with the “Best Presenter” award.
She specializes in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and is currently responsible for teaching a wide range of courses, including Academic Skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing), Grammar, and British - American Culture and Literature.
Her research, titled: “Exploring the Role of Artificial Intelligence in English Language Education for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”,
received high recognition.

This prestigious award not only evaluates the quality of the research but also acknowledges excellence in presentation, critical thinking, and the ability to engage with the global academic community.
When AI Shapes the Future of Language Education
In the context of Artificial Intelligence (AI) increasingly permeating all aspects of life, the study approaches the issue from a systematic perspective. It does not merely consider AI as a supportive teaching tool, but as a transformative force capable of reshaping the entire process of language teaching and learning.
Through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates education, technology, and sustainable development, the research highlights how AI is creating a new learning ecosystem, where learners are placed at the center of knowledge acquisition.
Notably, the study emphasizes the direct connection between the application of AI in education and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Advancing SDG 4 - Quality Education
The research identifies several key contributions of AI to English language education:
- Personalized Learning: Intelligent tutoring systems enable customized learning paths tailored to each learner’s abilities, pace, and goals.
- Optimized Feedback: Automated feedback technologies provide timely, accurate, and continuous evaluation, enhancing learning effectiveness.
- Enhanced Interaction: Conversational agents create environments that closely simulate real-life communication, improving language proficiency.
- Expanded Access: AI helps overcome geographical and financial barriers, allowing broader access to quality English education.
Contributing to SDG 10 - Reduced Inequalities
Beyond improving teaching and learning efficiency, AI also plays a vital role in promoting a more inclusive and equitable education system by:
- Expanding access to learning opportunities across diverse contexts
- Reducing disparities in educational resources
- Supporting lifelong learning regardless of time and location constraints
The study also highlights the crucial role of English as a bridge to knowledge, enabling learners to interact with AI platforms, access global resources, and participate in international academic networks. In this sense, AI serves as a strategic driver for sustainable education.
Achieving International Recognition Through Academic Excellence
The achievement of the “Best Presenter” award at an international conference carries significance beyond an individual accomplishment.
First and foremost, it is a clear testament to the research capability and internationally aligned academic mindset of DNTU’s faculty members. In an environment with increasingly rigorous evaluation standards, this recognition demonstrates that DNTU lecturers are fully capable of contributing to global academic forums with confidence and proactivity.

From a strategic perspective, this accomplishment reflects an important shift—from knowledge acquisition to knowledge creation and dissemination. Research on AI in education not only keeps pace with global trends but also contributes directly to shaping the future of education.
At the same time, it reaffirms DNTU’s ongoing efforts to build an integrated academic ecosystem, where teaching is closely linked with research, and research is connected to global challenges.

Once again, Dong Nai Technology University extends its sincere congratulations to Ms. Cam Lien on this outstanding achievement at ICETE2 - 2026. We wish her continued success in her international academic journey, as she continues to spread knowledge and inspire future generations in the digital era.
