FOR THE FIRST TIME, DNTU WINS AN AWARD AT THE 17TH NATIONAL TECHNICAL INNOVATION CONTEST (2022 – 2023)

The National Technical Innovation Award is a competition that fosters new advancements in science and technology, contributing to economic development, nation-building, and promoting a culture of creative labor among the people. The competition has been held every two years since 1989 and has attracted significant participation from ministries, sectors, and provinces/cities across the country.

The Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technical Innovation (VIFOTEC), under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), serves as the standing agency for the National Technical Innovation Award. Since the launch of the 17th competition in May 2022, VIFOTEC has actively promoted, disseminated, and guided the competition across provinces, cities, organizations, and individuals nationwide.

For the first time, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) has successfully won a Consolation Prize with the research project "Application of a distillation model to produce high-proof nipa palm wine aged in oak barrels". This project was led by ThS. Huynh Thi Thuy Loan and her team members (ThS. Ho Thi Ngoc Nhung, ThS. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duyen, and ThS. Lai Thi Hien).

This is not the first time DNTU has participated in this competition, reflecting the university's dynamic and enthusiastic research and innovation culture. Each research project represents a significant investment of time and effort by a dedicated team over days, months, or even years.

The awards ceremony for the 17th National Technical Innovation Award is expected to take place in April 2024 at the Hanoi Opera House.

Congratulations to the DNTU lecturers on this remarkable achievement! We look forward to seeing further contributions to scientific research, driving socio-economic development.
