Vibrant Specialized Sessions at ICETE2 - 2026

Following the success of the plenary session, the 2nd International Conference on Emerging Technologies for Energy & Environment (ICETE2 - 2026) continued with its specialized sessions, creating a dynamic, in-depth, and academically enriching atmosphere. These sessions served as a platform for scientists, lecturers, and researchers to present their latest studies, while engaging in discussions and critical exchanges to highlight the practical applications of their research.

The first session was chaired by Prof. Ibrahim Dincer, who is widely recognized for his impressive H-index and numerous influential research publications and textbooks in the fields of thermodynamics and clean energy.

Within this session, seven scientific presentations were delivered, focusing on key topics such as hydrogen technologies, biofuels, and advanced catalytic materials. Each presentation lasted between 10 to 15 minutes, followed by 5 to 10 minutes of discussion, enabling in-depth and meaningful academic exchange.

Beyond the presentations, the discussion segments attracted numerous insightful questions from participants, particularly regarding feasibility, scalability, and real-world application potential. As a result, Session 1 contributed significantly to identifying new directions in clean energy and environmental technologies.

Immediately afterward, Session 2 continued under the chairmanship of Prof. Henrik Lund, with co-chair Prof. Veera Gnaneswar Gude - both leading experts in the fields of energy and the environment. With a similar structure, this session also featured seven scientific presentations, focusing on interdisciplinary topics that clearly demonstrate the strong interconnection between technology, energy, and the environment.

The diversity of topics not only reflects current interdisciplinary research trends but also highlights efforts to bridge theoretical research with practical applications. The presentations received strong interest from participants, especially in areas related to renewable energy, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence.

At the conclusion of the two sessions, the conference recorded active participation from speakers and delegates, with lively academic discussions that brought practical value to the research community. These exchanges not only clarified research content but also opened up potential opportunities for future collaboration.

Notably, the specialized sessions also provided valuable opportunities for students of Dong Nai Technology University to directly engage in and experience an international academic environment. In addition to accessing the latest research findings, students had the chance to interact, learn, and gain insights from leading professors and global experts right at the conference venue.

Through observing presentation styles, critical thinking approaches, and in-depth discussions, students gradually develop a solid foundation in scientific research, while broadening their perspectives on technological trends in energy and environmental fields. These meaningful experiences play an important role in shaping their academic paths, research capabilities, and future career development as the next generation of engineers and scientists.

The two specialized sessions at ICETE2 - 2026 have further affirmed the conference’s role as a prestigious academic forum - bringing together knowledge, fostering innovation, and strengthening connections within the global scientific community in the fields of energy and environment.
