Starting in December 2026, students of Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) are expected to have additional opportunities to study, engage in cultural exchange, and experience the business environment in Nanning, Guangxi, China, through a two-way student exchange program with Nanning Vocational and Technical University. This marks a new step in DNTU’s journey toward expanding international experiences and strengthening academic connections for its students.

Opening New Doors to International Experiences for DNTU Students

As the learning and professional environment becomes increasingly international, studying and experiencing life in another country can provide students with new perspectives on education, culture, and the workplace.

With this orientation, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) and Nanning Vocational and Technical University, Guangxi, China, are continuing to finalize plans for a two-way student exchange program (inbound – outbound), which is expected to begin in December 2026.

Under the plan, each exchange period is expected to involve approximately 5 – 10 students and last 7 – 10 days. DNTU students will have the opportunity to travel to Nanning to participate in academic activities, cultural exchanges, and company visits. At the same time, students from Nanning will have the opportunity to visit DNTU and experience the academic environment in Vietnam.

This program is expected to provide students with learning experiences beyond the classroom, while also creating opportunities for cultural exchange and connections with international students.

Combining Academic Learning with Cultural and Industry Experiences

One of the highlights of the program is its focus on combining academic learning, cultural exchange, and hands-on experiences.

During their participation in the program in Nanning, DNTU students are expected to experience a new learning environment, interact with local students, and gain a deeper understanding of the culture and daily life in Guangxi.

In addition, company visits will give students opportunities to observe real-world working environments, learn about business and production activities, and gain further insights into workforce requirements in an international setting.

With an exchange period of 7 – 10 days, the program provides students with a short-term yet diverse international experience, in line with DNTU’s orientation toward strengthening cultural exchange and international integration throughout their academic journey.

More Than a Trip: An Opportunity to Expand Connections

Through the exchange program, DNTU students will have the opportunity to step beyond their familiar learning environment and gain exposure to a new education system and culture.

Directly studying, interacting, and living in an international environment will also provide students with opportunities to develop their communication skills, adapt to new environments, and proactively connect with international peers.

In particular, interactions between students from the two universities will help lay the foundation for long-term connections, ranging from academic activities to future exchange, research, and collaborative programs.

Expanding Opportunities for Student and Faculty Collaboration

The student exchange program was among the key areas discussed by the two universities during the working session on September 17, 2026, following the visit and working session held in April 2026.

In addition to student exchanges, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) and Nanning Vocational and Technical University also discussed faculty and expert exchanges, short-term training programs, and the development of joint training programs based on the 1+1+1 model.

These areas of discussion open up further opportunities for collaboration in education and academic exchange between the two universities, while also laying the groundwork for students to access more international learning experiences in the future.

As part of the visit, the delegation from Nanning Vocational and Technical University toured the DNTU campus, laboratories, and facilities supporting teaching and learning.

Ready for a New Journey in December 2026

Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) and Nanning Vocational and Technical University are continuing to finalize the program details and necessary arrangements, with the first student exchange scheduled for December 2026.

For DNTU students, the program is expected to offer a new form of learning and experiential education, where classroom knowledge is connected with cultural exchange, hands-on experiences, and an international educational environment.

The gradual implementation of the student exchange program will also contribute to DNTU’s broader international cooperation strategy, creating more opportunities for students to engage, learn, and gain valuable experience throughout their academic journey at the university.
