DNTU Welcomes Delegation from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), Taiwan, to Strengthen International Academic Cooperation

On May 22, 2026, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) welcomed a distinguished delegation led by the President and senior representatives of National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), Taiwan, together with representatives from Giants Education and Training Co., Ltd. and other international education partners.

The meeting was held in a warm, open, and productive atmosphere, reaffirming DNTU's commitment to expanding international collaboration and enhancing the quality of education in response to the demands of global integration.

During the working session, Professor Yi-Ting Song, President of National Taiwan Normal University, and Dr. Phan Ngoc Son, President of Dong Nai Technology University, discussed strategic directions for future cooperation between the two institutions. Both leaders emphasized the vital role of international education in developing highly skilled human resources capable of meeting the evolving demands of the global workforce in the era of technological innovation and digital transformation.

The discussions focused on a wide range of potential collaborative initiatives in education, research, and international industry engagement. Key areas of cooperation included student, postgraduate student, and faculty exchange programs; joint scientific research; the development of international academic programs; and the enhancement of foreign language education and global competencies for students.

In addition, both institutions expressed strong interest in expanding collaboration in engineering, technology, innovation, and information and communication technology (ICT)—fields that are increasingly recognized as strategic priorities for higher education and economic development worldwide.

With the participation of academic leaders from DNTU's faculties, industry partners, and representatives from Giants Education and Training Co., Ltd., the meeting also explored practical models of collaboration among universities, international education organizations, and industry. These discussions highlighted the shared commitment to creating a modern learning environment that strengthens the connection between academic education and the evolving needs of the international labor market.

Through this partnership, DNTU expects to provide its students, postgraduate learners, and faculty members with greater opportunities to engage in international academic exchanges, collaborative research projects, and multicultural learning experiences, thereby enhancing their academic, professional, and intercultural competencies.

More than a networking event, the visit laid a solid foundation for long-term collaboration between DNTU, NTNU, and their international partners. The strategic directions discussed during the meeting will serve as the basis for implementing a range of concrete cooperative initiatives, contributing to educational excellence, research innovation, and the development of high-quality human resources in an increasingly interconnected world.
