Students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) successfully completed their interpretation and international communication responsibilities during the 10th Asian Pencak Silat Championships, held from July 15 to July 23, 2026, making a meaningful contribution to the successful organization of one of the region's premier sporting events.

The championship provided an exceptional experiential learning opportunity, allowing students to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom to a professional international setting. Serving as language facilitators, the DNTU students provided interpretation and communication support for athletes, referees, coaches, and officials from eight countries and territories, including India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, and Thailand.

Working in a fast-paced international sporting environment enabled the students to strengthen their English communication skills, develop intercultural competence, enhance problem-solving abilities, and cultivate a professional work ethic. These real-world experiences have further enriched their academic learning while preparing them for future careers in international communication and global professional environments.

Throughout the event, the students received continuous guidance and support from faculty members of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. Their careful preparation, dedication, and professionalism enabled them to successfully fulfill all assigned responsibilities while contributing to the promotion of Dong Nai Province as a welcoming, friendly, and internationally connected destination.

Beyond successfully completing their assignments, the students gained invaluable professional experience, built meaningful friendships with participants from across Asia, and developed greater confidence in their ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
