DNTU IN THE GREENSEA INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP NETWORK: ASSERTING ITS POSITION ON THE GLOBAL EDUCATION MAP
In the context of international educational integration and sustainable development, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) has officially become a strategic link in the GREENSEA project. This network brings together 10 leading partners from Europe and Southeast Asia, all aiming to build a green future through educational and technological innovation.
1. GREENSEA: A Multinational Network – Connecting Multiculturalism
The GREENSEA project is not just a typical cooperation agreement, but a strong academic exchange between two continents: Europe and Southeast Asia. This network brings together 10 leading names in the fields of training and research:
Europe: Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU – Norway); University of Science and Technology (AGH – Poland).
Vietnam: Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU); Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST); Van Lang University (VLU); Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
Indonesia: Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB); Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS); Airlangga University (UNAIR).
Thailand: Chiang Mai University (CMU).
This widespread geographical distribution creates a diverse knowledge ecosystem, allowing the parties to leverage their unique national strengths to address common regional and global issues.
2. Operating Philosophy: Co-creation and Academic Equality
GREENSEA's core difference lies in its philosophy of Co-creation and Academic Equality.
Co-creation: Every program, initiative, and solution is built upon the shared contributions of all members. There is no imposition from one side; each partner is a "co-builder" of the system.
Academic Equality: The project respects the differences and unique values of each educational institution. This equality allows universities of all sizes to contribute their voices and expertise, creating transparency and absolute trust within the network.
3. Three Strategic Pillars of the Network
To achieve sustainable development goals, GREENSEA operates synchronously across three main areas:
Training: Focusing on modernizing the curriculum to international standards, helping students access the most advanced knowledge in green technology and sustainable development.
Research: Promoting joint research projects, coordinating the publication of scientific works in prestigious international journals, and addressing environmental and climate change challenges.
Innovation: Encouraging the transfer of technology from the laboratory to practice and building a sustainable entrepreneurial spirit among students and faculty.
4. DNTU's Position and Responsibilities
By participating in GREENSEA, DNTU affirms its position as a dynamic university, a pioneer in international cooperation. As an active member, DNTU commits to:
Connecting to practice: Transforming the network's research objectives into the practical needs of the business community in Dong Nai – a key industrial region of Vietnam.
Enhancing capacity: Providing maximum opportunities for faculty and students to participate in international exchange, learning, and research activities.
Sustainable value: Ensuring that all initiatives within the project framework aim to create sustainable value for society and improve the quality of high-quality human resources.
“10 Partners – One Green Vision” – GREENSEA is not just a project, it is a journey of trust and connection for a sustainable green planet. DNTU is proud to be a part of this historic journey!
