Closing Ceremony of the International Conference on Sustainability and Innovation: Emerging Trends in Business Education

After two days of work, the International Conference “Sustainability Meets Innovation: Emerging Trends in Business Education 2025” officially concluded with a Closing Ceremony. The event was organized by the Association of Philippine Business Schools and Colleges (PACSB) in collaboration with DNTU, and was attended by numerous scholars, researchers, and lecturers from ASEAN countries.

Throughout the event, the conference provided numerous in-depth academic discussions and energetic meetings and exchanges of ideas. Topics revolving around sustainable development, innovation, and modern business education trends created a comprehensive picture of the path of educational development in the era of globalization.

Attending the program, on behalf of DNTU, we were honored to welcome Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Vice President, Dr.Phan Vo Quynh Nhu - Vice President, heads of departments/offices, and students from the Faculties of Economics and Management, Accounting and Finance, Foreign Languages, and Technology… On behalf of PACSB, we were pleased to have the participation of Dr. Amado L. Magsino - President of PACSB, Dr. Chere Yturralde - Director of the International Conference Committee, and more than 10 representatives including experts, lecturers, and academic managers from many leading universities in the Philippines. In addition, the ceremony was attended by many international speakers and scholars from ASEAN countries.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Amado L. Magsino, President of PACSB, congratulated the conference on its success and expressed his appreciation for the close cooperation between PACSB and DNTU. He also expressed his delight at the warm welcome and care from the DNTU team over the past two days. Following this, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of the University, delivered a speech of thanks on behalf of the University, emphasizing the importance of promoting international academic cooperation in the context of the rapidly transforming global education landscape.

The program continued with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the presenters, along with the announcement of the "Best Paper" and "Best Paper Presenter" awards – recognizing research with outstanding academic and practical value.

The award for “Best Paper Presenter” for Session 1 went to Gabriel R. de Guzman.

The award for “Best Paper Presenter” for Session 2 went to Artemio M. Gulilat.

The award for “Best Paper Presenter” for Session 3 went to Kenneth L. Sanido.

The "Best Paper Presenter" award for Session 4 went to Nguyen Thi Loan from the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

The award for “Best Paper Presenter” of Session 5 went to Rogel L. Limpiada.

The award for "Best Paper Presenter" in Session 6 went to Yasmin Pascual-Dormido.

In particular, the award for Best Paper went to the paper “Integrating Cybercrime Prevention into Sustainable Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Practices and Business Education” by Yasmin Pascual-Dormido.

Following the program was the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dong Nai University of Technology and 14 universities from the Philippines, opening a new phase of cooperation in research, training, and sustainable development.

9. Signing of a cooperation agreement between DNTU and Northwestern University.

10. Signing of a cooperation agreement between DNTU and the University of Zamboanga (Universidad de Zamboanga).

11. Signing of a cooperation agreement between DNTU and Lyceum of the Philippines University Laguna.

12. Signing of a cooperation agreement between DNTU and Tayabas City College (Colegio de la Ciudad de Tayabas).

13. Signing of a cooperation agreement between DNTU and Central Colleges of the Philippines.

14. Signing of a cooperation agreement between DNTU and the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Molino Campus.

This conference was not only an international academic forum, but also a symbol of the spirit of integration, sharing, and sustainable development in education in the ASEAN region. DNTU is proud to be a place connecting international academic relationships for a sustainable future of society. The closing ceremony of the International Conference on Sustainability and Innovation: Outstanding Trends in Business Education has concluded, witnessing the value brought about by the discussion sessions. The insightful sharing from the speakers opened up many new approaches to education and research. The university extends its sincere thanks to all delegates and guests.
