A SUMMER OF GLOBAL LEARNING: DNTU STUDENTS BUILD FUTURE-READY SKILLS THROUGH IMAGINE INDONESIA 2026
For many students, summer is a time to relax. For four students from Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU), however, it became an opportunity to broaden their horizons, strengthen their global competencies, and connect with peers from across Southeast Asia through Imagine Indonesia 2026: Developing Future-Ready Skills through the International Virtual Student Mobility Program.
Organized by BINUS University (Indonesia) from July 13 to July 17, 2026, the program brought together students from universities across the region to collaborate in an international virtual learning environment. Representing DNTU were Bùi Tuấn Kiệt and Lê Trần Thanh Sang from the Faculty of Economics, together with Phạm Anh Thùy and Trần Quỳnh Thảo Chi from the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in intercultural teamwork, academic discussions, and collaborative projects designed to strengthen essential twenty-first-century competencies. By working with students from different cultural and educational backgrounds, they enhanced their communication, teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills—qualities that are increasingly important in today's interconnected world.
A particularly proud achievement for DNTU was the outstanding performance of Bùi Tuấn Kiệt, a first-year student majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Together with teammates from BINUS University, Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati, Panpacific University, Institut Teknologi Del, and Universitas Muria Kudus, his team was awarded First Prize for their presentation titled "Education for the Future," which explored the essential competencies students need to succeed in an ever-evolving global society.
This achievement reflects not only the dedication and capabilities of DNTU students but also the University's commitment to providing meaningful international learning opportunities that prepare graduates for success in a globalized world.
Through international exchange and virtual mobility programs, DNTU continues to encourage students to expand their academic perspectives, strengthen their foreign language proficiency, develop intercultural competence, and cultivate the confidence required to thrive in international environments.
At DNTU, summer is more than a season of rest—it is a season of learning, discovery, and transformation. The University remains committed to creating more opportunities for students to participate in international programs, empowering them to become globally minded professionals and responsible global citizens.
