Connecting specialized academic knowledge with real-world manufacturing activities is one of the key educational orientations emphasized by Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU). On October 31, 2026, the Center for Enterprise Cooperation & Alumni, in collaboration with the Mechanical Manufacturing Technology Division of the Faculty of Engineering, organized a field visit and career orientation program at KSM Eng Vina Company Limited for students majoring in Mechanical Manufacturing Technology.

During the program, students had the opportunity to explore the working environment, learn about the company's production processes, and gain insights into the operation of machinery and equipment as well as specialized stages of mechanical manufacturing. These activities provided students with a clearer picture of actual manufacturing operations and how specialized knowledge is applied in practice.

Students also learned about the requirements for personnel in the mechanical engineering and manufacturing sectors, including professional knowledge, technical skills, and the competencies needed to meet workplace demands. These insights helped them better understand labor market expectations and take a more proactive approach to planning their studies and professional development.

Connecting with DNTU Senior Students Currently Undertaking Internships

One of the practical highlights of the program was the opportunity to meet and interact with senior DNTU students currently undertaking internships at KSM Eng Vina. Through their sharing of internship experiences, workplace insights, and practical lessons learned at the company, visiting students gained valuable and relatable advice from their senior peers.

This interaction also helped students better understand the transition from university to the workplace, what they should prepare before starting an internship, and how to adapt to real-world business requirements.

Through this field visit, Mechanical Manufacturing Technology students had further opportunities to connect their academic knowledge with manufacturing operations, gain a clearer understanding of the working environment after graduation, strengthen their skills, and prepare more proactively for their future careers.
