On October 29, 2026, students from the 22nd cohort majoring in Accounting and Finance – Banking at the Faculty of Economics, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU), participated in a field visit to Vikki Bank – Binh Duong Branch, located at 15 Dinh Bo Linh Street, Phu Cuong Ward, Thu Dau Mot City.

The students were accompanied by representatives from the University and the Faculty of Economics, including Ms. Tran Thi Minh Ngoc – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics; Mr. Tran Vu Giang – Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics; and Ms. Bui Thi Linh – Representative of the Center for Enterprise Cooperation & Alumni. The visit provided students with an opportunity to experience a real working environment, explore digital banking operations, and gain practical insights into their fields of study.

Exploring the Modern Digital Banking Model

At Vikki Bank, students received an overview of the bank's history, digital operating model, and dynamic workplace culture. This introduction offered them a broader perspective on the development of the banking sector amid digital transformation and the professional requirements for the future workforce in Finance and Banking.

Experiencing the Workplace and Operational Procedures

Students toured the bank's professional departments, observed the working environment, and learned about its operational procedures and organizational practices. These experiences helped them gain a clearer understanding of how a financial institution operates while connecting their academic knowledge with practical professional activities.

Interaction, Q&A, and Career Orientation

During the discussion session in the auditorium, students actively exchanged ideas and asked bank representatives about internship opportunities, recruitment positions, and the skills they should develop while still at university. This was an opportunity for students to better understand employers' expectations, identify the competencies they need to strengthen, and gain clearer direction for their future careers.

As part of the program, University representatives presented a letter of appreciation and commemorative gifts to Vikki Bank – Binh Duong Branch in recognition of the branch's thoughtful reception and support for the DNTU delegation.

Through this field visit, K22 students majoring in Accounting and Finance – Banking gained opportunities to broaden their practical knowledge, experience a professional working environment, and better understand the connection between academic training and workplace requirements. The activity also contributed to strengthening cooperation between the University and businesses, creating further opportunities for students to gain experience and develop their careers.
