DNTU Students Refresh Local Utility Poles with Eco-Friendly Art
In our urban spaces, who hasn't passed by dull, grey utility poles plastered with messy illegal advertisements? However, that changed between late July and early August this year, as students from Dong Nai University of Technology (DNTU) joined hands with local youth to beautify those very poles. This meaningful activity took place from July 30th to August 5th, attracting the interest and enthusiastic participation of many young people.

From July 30th to August 5th, DNTU students and local volunteers worked tirelessly to scrub each pole, remove layers of "advertisement junk," apply fresh coats of paint, and decorate them with murals carrying environmental protection messages.
Blooming flowers, lush green leaves, and fish swimming in a blue ocean… these are not just images; they are gentle reminders: "Live Green – Because the Environment is Our Home."
The journey to "give a new look" to these utility poles went beyond simply removing dirty flyers. The students carefully cleaned the structures and applied a base coat. As the sketches were finalized, the atmosphere became noticeably more vibrant: colorful flowers, foliage, and sea creatures were recreated gracefully, as if dancing on the cold, hard surfaces. Every brushstroke carried a deep yet gentle message about environmental awareness and respect for public spaces. When the light hits these vibrant drawings, it reveals more than just colors; it reflects a belief in a community that values simple beauty, where every street corner can touch the hearts of passersby. This initiative became even more warm and significant as it took place just before the 1st Congress of the Trang Dai Ward Party Committee (Term 2025–2030).

The pole-painting activity by DNTU students has contributed to transforming the urban landscape, beautifying the scenery, and conveying environmental awareness in a subtle yet profound way. This is the message of love for the homeland, passion for the living environment, and community responsibility that the youth of DNTU aim to spread.
