With the message "Play Fair – Win with Honor – Cheer with Passion," the Vietnam Student Team, with DNTU FC as the core, wrapped up their journey at the Asian University Football Tournament in 6th place. Their performance brought a wave of emotions from the pitch to the sidelines and the stands.

Right from their opening match, the "Red Owls" displayed confidence and determination with a victory over Thailand. In the following matches, despite facing strong and experienced teams, the Vietnam Student Team remained steadfast, giving their all on the field.

The tournament concluded with Japan crowned as champions, South Korea securing second place, and Oman finishing third. The Asian University Football Federation (AUFF) also presented several individual awards selected by the expert panel. The Vietnam Student Team was honored as goalkeeper Nguyen Duc Cong received recognition at the awards ceremony, alongside other outstanding players from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand.

AUFF President Byon Seok Hwa remarked: "The Vietnam Student Team has shown significant improvement compared to previous tournaments. With a bit more luck, they could have achieved a higher ranking than sixth place. But that’s football—I believe Vietnamese university football will continue to make steady progress in the future. For this tournament, I was particularly impressed with goalkeeper Duc Cong, who delivered a consistently outstanding performance."

The Vietnam Student Team won the hearts of many spectators with their cohesion and teamwork on the field. Among the crowd, a large number of Vietnamese fans came to the stadium to cheer for their team, creating an incredible atmosphere of support.

The Asian University Football Tournament concluded successfully, leaving behind unforgettable moments—thrilling victories, emotional celebrations, and the strong bonds between teams. Though this journey didn’t end with the top position, the team's performance was a great source of pride for Vietnamese football and Dong Nai Technology University.
