On December 3rd, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU), the host of the 2025 Asian University Football Tournament, welcomed the delegation from the Asian University Football Federation (AUFF), led by Mr. Byon Seok Hwa, President of AUFF. The visit and working sessions took place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from December 3rd to December 5th, 2024.

As part of the working visit, AUFF and DNTU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), laying the foundation for close collaboration in the tournament preparation. As the host institution, DNTU is committed to ensuring that all aspects, from facilities and logistics to event organization, meet the highest standards to deliver a successful, professional, and impressive tournament.

In addition to the official meetings, the AUFF delegation also visited key locations, including hotels, stadiums, and other tournament-related facilities, while also exploring Vietnamese culture and people. The positive impressions from this visit further strengthen confidence in the success of the upcoming tournament.

The AUFT 2025 tournament is scheduled to take place from May 27 to June 4, 2025, at two venues: Dat Duc Stadium and Phu Nhuan Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City. This year’s tournament will feature eight strong teams from across Asia, including South Korea, Japan, Oman, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, and host nation Vietnam.

AUFT 2025 is not just a sporting event but also an opportunity for students across Asia to connect, learn, and shine on the field. Let’s join DNTU in looking forward to this exciting tournament, hosted in Vietnam for the first time!
