From lecture halls and the library to practice rooms, the dormitory, and sports facilities, the DNTU campus is equipped with a diverse range of facilities to support students’ learning, practical training, research, and daily life. Before officially starting the new academic year, let’s explore the seven buildings from A to G and get familiar with DNTU’s learning environment.

With a total area of 76,130 m², including 52,613 m² of floor space dedicated to education and research, DNTU features a comprehensive campus with facilities designed for various purposes, including administrative areas, lecture halls, a library, practice rooms, a dormitory, sports facilities, and spaces for student activities.

Within the overall campus, the seven buildings A, B, C, D, E, F, and G each serve different functions, creating a well-rounded environment that supports students throughout their academic and university life.

Building A – Administration and Learning Center

Construction of Building A began on January 1, 2004, and the building was upgraded in July 2024. It covers an area of 4,582 m², with three floors and 48 rooms.

The building houses administrative offices, meeting rooms, lecture halls, and an auditorium with a capacity of 200 seats. Building A serves as one of the central areas for the University’s administrative, academic, and program-related activities.

Building B – Teaching and Learning Space

Construction of Building B began on January 1, 2004. In 2008, the building was upgraded with two additional floors. It covers an area of 3,048 m², with four floors and 40 rooms.

Building B primarily serves theoretical teaching and learning, supporting classes and academic activities throughout students’ studies at DNTU..

Building C – Library and Knowledge Hub

Construction of Building C began on January 1, 2004, with upgrades carried out in 2011 and February 2020. The building covers an area of 3,123 m² and consists of two floors.

This is home to the DNTU Library, serving students’ needs for reading, accessing resources, research, and self-study. With a focus on developing learning spaces and digital resources, the library is an important part of the University’s academic and research environment.

Building D – DNTU Dormitory

Construction of Building D began on August 20, 2007. The building covers an area of 5,181 m², with six floors and 92 rooms.

Building D serves as the student dormitory and also includes facilities supporting students’ daily life and learning, such as a canteen, classrooms, and multipurpose lecture rooms. It provides a convenient living and learning environment for students during their time at DNTU.

Building E – Practice and Physical Activity Space

Construction of Building E began on June 20, 2016. The building covers an area of 4,690.7 m² and consists of three floors. In April 2024, the area was further upgraded with facilities including a parking area, football field, and a two-story automotive practice workshop.

Building E combines spaces for professional practice and physical activities, expanding the range of facilities available for students’ learning and hands-on experiences.

Building F – Technology Center

Construction of Building F began on May 1, 2012, and the building was upgraded in July 2023. It covers an area of 5,200 m², with five floors and 45 rooms.

This is one of the main areas at DNTU housing classrooms, practice rooms, and specialized training facilities. Building F supports various fields of study with a diverse range of practice spaces, including 3D Printing, Virtual Reality (VR), the SMC Automation Lab, Information Technology, Accounting, Medicine, Food Technology, Nursing, Food Sensory Evaluation,...

Investing in specialized practice facilities gives students greater opportunities to apply their knowledge, develop practical skills, and gain hands-on experience with equipment and learning environments closely connected to their future careers.

Building G – Complex Center

Construction of Building G began on April 28, 2014. The building was upgraded in March 2023, including improvements to its facade and the classroom spaces of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. It covers an area of 5,576 m², with six floors and 45 rooms.

Building G serves multiple purposes, featuring classrooms, administrative areas, spaces for the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and an auditorium. It also provides facilities for academic activities, seminars, and student programs.

Learning Goes Beyond the Classroom

In addition to Buildings A–G, the DNTU campus features a wide range of facilities supporting student life and activities, including an eight-lane saltwater swimming pool, two football fields, six pickleball courts, as well as volleyball and basketball areas, a gym, and other spaces for student activities.

This diverse campus environment not only meets students’ needs for learning and practical training but also provides opportunities to stay active, participate in extracurricular activities, and enjoy a well-rounded university experience within the same campus.
