International Expert from Kasetsart University Brings Global Perspectives on Logistics and Supply Chain Management to DNTU

As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing educational quality, strengthening internationalization, and providing students with access to global knowledge, the Faculty of Economics at Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) recently organized a series of lectures delivered by Dr. Narthsirinth Netirith from Kasetsart University, Thailand—an experienced scholar specializing in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Dr. Narthsirinth Netirith has an H-index of 3 and has published 10 research papers in internationally recognized ISI/Scopus-indexed journals. Drawing on her strong academic background and extensive experience in teaching and research, she introduced DNTU students to contemporary perspectives on logistics and supply chain management in the context of rapid digital transformation and increasingly interconnected global supply networks.

Throughout the lectures, students gained in-depth knowledge of logistics management, supply chain operations, warehouse management, transportation, and distribution systems. They also explored emerging trends in the industry, including smart logistics, the application of digital technologies in supply chain management, and the challenges facing the logistics sector in the era of digital transformation.

The participation of an international expert created a multicultural learning environment that encouraged students to broaden their perspectives, strengthen intercultural communication skills, and develop a global mindset. The program also provided valuable opportunities for students to enhance their English proficiency, improve their ability to work in international settings, and better prepare for future careers in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.

In recent years, Dong Nai Province has emerged as one of Southern Vietnam's key industrial, manufacturing, and logistics hubs. Supported by extensive industrial zones, an expanding transportation network, major infrastructure projects, and robust import-export activities, the province has witnessed a growing demand for highly qualified professionals in logistics and supply chain management.

Industry experts recognize logistics not only as a supporting service but also as a strategic component of the production and commercial value chain. The continuous development of the logistics sector plays a vital role in enhancing business competitiveness, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving regional economic growth. As a result, logistics is expected to remain one of the most promising career fields with sustained demand for skilled professionals in the years ahead.

Inviting international scholars to participate directly in teaching reflects DNTU's strategic vision of building a modern, practice-oriented educational environment that bridges academic learning with industry needs. This initiative also represents a meaningful step in advancing the University's internationalization strategy while enhancing educational quality and strengthening students' competitiveness in the global workforce.

Through international academic collaboration, Dong Nai Technology University continues to reaffirm its commitment to providing students with access to advanced knowledge, broadening their global perspectives, and fostering their comprehensive development. These efforts ensure that DNTU graduates are well prepared to succeed in both domestic and international professional environments.
