The Asian University Football Federation (AUFF) was established on 17/06/2015 in South Korea to promote sportsmanship, foster exchange, and share experiences among Asian universities through football.
The Asian University Football Tournament (AUFT) is a football competition organized by the Asian University Football Federation (AUFF) with the following objectives: Promote exchange and cooperation among universities across Asia; Develop school sports and enhance the quality of sports training; Encourage sportsmanship, solidarity, and fair play; Elevate the image of university football on the international stage; Foster sustainable partnerships among universities, businesses, and sports organizations.

Intellectual football players must uphold the demeanor of scholars, not sacrificing student culture for victory at any cost. Players should give their best, remain confident, and respect referees' decisions; treat opponents and spectators with civility, embracing the spirit of "Play Fair, Win Fair, Cheer Fair."
DNTU will officially represent Vietnam as the host of the Asian University Football Tournament (AUFT). The tournament will feature eight teams from Asian universities, including South Korea, Japan, Oman, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, and host Vietnam.

DNTU made its mark in South Korea with impressive performances on the field.
On 30/01/2020, Dr. Phan Ngoc Son, Chairman of Dong Nai Technology University, was appointed as Vice President of AUFF in South Korea, with the mission of promoting football among students in the university and the region.
DNTU participated in AUFT for the first time in Taiwan, officially becoming a member of the Asian University Football Federation (AUFF).
