Aligning with this trend, the faculty and scientists of Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) continue to assert their research capabilities and academic standing on the international stage.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan Brings Vietnamese Green Energy Research to Europe
Throughout April and May 2026, the international cooperation and scientific research activities of Dong Nai University of Technology marked a prominent milestone on the global academic forum. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of the University, was invited to present a series of specialized lectures at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology (WIMiO) at Gdańsk University of Technology (Poland), one of Europe’s leading technical universities.

This event not only showcases the professional prestige of DNTU’s faculty and scientists but also confirms the University's significant strides in its internationalization strategy, expanding research collaboration and global academic connectivity.
The invitation for a Vietnamese scientist to teach and engage in academic exchange at a prestigious European technical university is a testament to the growing recognition of Vietnamese intellectuals in the fields of technology, energy, and sustainable development.
Lecture Series on Green Energy and Maritime Decarbonization Strategies
The lecture series focused on highly topical issues crucial to the global energy transition and the sustainable development of the maritime industry, including:
- Alternative fuels for marine engines.
- Green Hydrogen and low-emission shipping strategies.
- CO₂ reduction technologies in energy and maritime sectors.
- Decarbonization solutions aimed at global Net-Zero goals.
Through these in-depth academic exchanges, the program provided new scientific perspectives on clean energy trends while opening doors for cooperation between universities, research institutes, and international enterprises in the fields of energy, environment, and maritime technology.

Beyond teaching, these sessions served as an opportunity for scientists to discuss new research trends, share experiences in green technology development, and promote future international collaborative projects. This is considered a vital bridge to bring Vietnamese research closer to global academic and technological networks.
A Vietnamese Scientist with Outstanding International Contributions
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan is well-known for his extensive contributions to thermodynamics, internal combustion engines, biofuels, and renewable energy. He has been repeatedly named in the top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists according to rankings by Elsevier and Stanford University.
Over the years, he has conducted and published numerous in-depth studies related to hydrogen fuel, methanol, biofuels, emission reduction technologies, and sustainable development strategies for the maritime transport industry.

Notably, many of his studies have been published in prestigious Q1 international scientific journals—the top tier for academic quality and global impact.
DNTU Strongly Drives International Integration
The invitation for Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan to lecture at Gdańsk University of Technology further reinforces the rising status of DNTU’s faculty in the international research network.
