Grand Opening: The 2nd International Conference on Emerging Technologies for Energy & Environment (ICETE2 - 2026)

As the world confronts escalating global challenges in energy and environment, the promotion of scientific research, knowledge dissemination, and the expansion of international cooperation have become imperative. In response to these pressing needs, Dong Nai Technology University has organized the 2nd International Conference on Emerging Technologies for Energy & Environment (ICETE2 - 2026).

Building upon the success of previous conferences—including CSET 2023, CSET 2024, and ICETE1 - 2025—ICETE2 - 2026 is organized on an international scale, bringing together over 50 esteemed scientists, experts, and researchers from across the globe. The conference serves as an open academic forum where innovative ideas are exchanged, critiqued, and developed into practical applications aimed at achieving sustainable development goals.

The event welcomed the presence of representatives from Dong Nai Technology University, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuấn, Vice President, alongside Deans of various Faculties, faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduates.

Representing the global academic community, the event featured the distinguished participation of Professor Ibrahim Dincer of Ontario Tech University, Canada, a world-renowned expert in his field.

Professor Veera Gnaneswar Gude from Purdue University Northwest, USA.

These are all highly prestigious scholars who have made significant contributions to the fields of energy and environment on a global scale.

Furthermore, the conference welcomed a diverse range of domestic and international delegates, including representatives from government agencies, provincial departments, scientific organizations, and enterprises operating within the technology and environmental sectors.

Opening the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan – Vice President of Dong Nai Technology University – officially declared the commencement of the ICETE2 - 2026 Conference. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the vital role of international academic connectivity amidst the global energy transition and sustainable development. One of the standout features of ICETE2 - 2026 was its Hybrid model, seamlessly integrating in-person sessions at Dong Nai Technology University with virtual participation. Regarding academic excellence, ICETE2 - 2026 attracted 50 scientific papers from both domestic and international researchers. Following a rigorous peer-review process, high-quality works were selected for presentation, including four outstanding papers recommended for publication in prestigious international journals indexed in the ISI database. Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings with an international ISBN, with additional opportunities for publication in reputable journals under the Scopus and Web of Science systems.

Furthermore, this year’s conference agenda focused deeply on practical solutions, particularly concerning clean energy, energy storage systems, sustainable water treatment technologies, and the application of cutting-edge innovations in environmental protection.
